The Braun & Partners Network CSR a company for strategy and communication has launched an accountability rating of the greatest Hungarian companies, called Accountability Rating Hungary, in the scope of which our company has been evaluated for the very first time. Aim of the initiative is to make companies understand their input on their environment and the demands of society, to make them initiate discussions with internal and external partners and use the results of these discussions in their strategy and everyday activities. The methodology tries to measure accountability, that is how much transparent the strategic importance of environmental, social and economical issues, their leadership, management, evaluation methods and communication is. The international survey based rating was published in Figyelő TOP 200 on 13th October 2007.

Mr Péter Lovas has been elected the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Budapest Gas Works Co. on its meeting of 25th September 2007. Mr Péter Lovas is member of the Board of Directors as the delegate of the city council since the 1st June 2007. His mandate ends on 31st May 2011.
